Maybe this news does not fit here, but I talked to Rory today and do you guys know what the speed record of Akis is with the metal (after 1 day of trying)???

Wasn't he world number one after only using the ball for six months and he seems to achieve a new record every month or so.

Your score is fantastic but how hard would it be to improve that by over a 1000 and by then what score would Akis be on.

Its the same with his endurance, for the 90s he averaging over 13000 which over 1000 more than second place.

To be honest I hope you guys prove me wrong because it would be great for someone off here to beat him.

I agree with James I guess if someone can manage a better score than Akis, it seems so hard and his videos are so impressive

Im pretty sure it was only 4 months till he broke 15k, but it still took akis a long time to go from 15-16k it was at least 8-9 months. Yes it takes a lot of work to do it. Look at pako he is a very determined and athletic person and he is improving his score all the time he will be pushing 15k soon, the force is also making great improvements and so are a lot of other people. But you are right akis isnt gonna stop training so he will be improving also, but i think/hope his improvements will be smaller, he must be approaching the limits of the ball, and this will give all of us time to catch up.

I agree with you Mark is almost all. Because not everyone can break 15K and certainly not 16K. But I do believe many can.

You and I believe it because you got up there so fast and knew the effort you put into it to do so.

In my case, I might be the less dedicated powerballer and even though I have decent speeds. I seldom train my left hand, I never do endurance, all I do is grab the ball and hit it. Perhaps if I grabbed the ball a bit more I'd be a contender, but for now I think I can hit the 14700 (on the pro) without significant effort.

Fact is I broke 15K on my fourth day of using the Tecnho. I didn't believe the score was legit because "God Akis" was just 200+ or so revs away then, and none other but him had broken such barrier. But I do truly believe now that score was legit, when days ago I grabbed the Tecnho again and scored 14600+ with it even though I was holding back a bit because of the led shutoff issue at high speeds. BTW, the video is somewhere in the "techno issues" thread. Recorded with the intention of showing how fast I could spin the ball with out the leds shutting off.

I broke 15k many times on my techno but my REAL score is only 13700+, never trust a Techno counter in high speeds...
