So I gather. Where do the scoreboards live?
EDIT: It's okay, found them. Pako truly dominated last night then, winning both the speed and 90s scoreboards AND with personal records. Nice scores from The Force too, with a 90s personal best. Plus MJ doing excellent by thrashing her personal speed record.

It sure was a record day yesterday.
Regards,
The Force
P.S. My short term goals:
12k+ speed metal
15k+ 90sec metal
14k+ speed regular
18k+ 90sec regular (I wonder whether I should start using the Edouard transitions too, like Pako did with his 18k ) _________________ Personal records:

In the transitions from left to right and back, yes! In between, no.

Well as long as you don't prolong the transistions any more than necessary, then that's fine. Probably saved about 30 or 40 revs per transtition, so had he not done that he might not have broken through the 18k barrier. _________________ 250Hz: (L/R)

I didn't mean to use Edouard's technique. The transitions were slow, I know, but i wasn't trying to rest, simply to set the counter towards the palm, for both hands, and ensure a good grip because my fingers were hurting.
More or less I had the ball in right hand for 50 seconds, in left hand for 30 seconds, and the remaining 10 seconds were lost in transitions. I'm watching my own video and I'm really surprised about my left hand, but I still need to do better transitions and in the right moments.
I usually do 90s standing up, and speed seated. Any suggestions or critics to my techniques are welcome :-)

I don't see a problem letting the ball spin freely for a second while you switch hands, I find it very difficult switching while holding the ball tight. _________________ 250hz

Pako.
Well, I don't know. Maybe James M is right that I take all this too seriously. Sorry if this offended you guys, really I am sorry.

I don't think it's a problem either...it's sensible. I too have thought about making sure the counter is pointing towards my palm in each hand, which would require a loose grip on the transitions or LOADS of revs would be lost. Might try tonight.
As for the Powerballs.com scoreboards, Rory has admitted he would encourage people to use the Edouard Technique. Rory said he did it in a 30s challenge once, and scored nearly 7000. _________________ 250Hz: (L/R)

But still...the Edouard style is way less tiring than the other one, so it does not seem to be a REAL ENDURANCE exercise in that case. And especially with the metal (which is real heavy power) it seems to be "cheating".
Above that, realise that our hero Akis did not do Edouard style either. He just goes for it all of the 90seconds.
