Congratulations.
As you are improving with the metal, have you noticed advances with the normal Powerball? Maybe more endurance?
Have you tried 90s with the metal? That will really hurt.

P.S. No I did not try any 90sec exercises yet. And I am even not sure if I am going to make them. I wonder whether this would reduce the lifetime of the PB metal too much.

The Force, is the Metal still just as quiet as when you first tried it? That was one of the downsides of the IronPower...it started silent, but very soon it had worn down the internal parts and was starting to make quite a noise.
The spin of the rotor is still silent, but there's a bit of a constant grinding noise now. _________________ 250Hz: (L/R)

Well...the noise might have increased somewhat but it's not that disturbing. Indeed as you say innner parts wear out and dust starts to fill up the cavity which creates this grinding noise.
Btw..the metal is provided with an extra rotor supportband + rings. So, if it has worn out too much you can always replace the parts.
However, yesterday I tried to open the powerball metal but I did not manage to get the rotor + rotor support band out of one of the halfs :-( There is a blue ring (which is located in between the rotor supportband and the metal half) which is stuck in the metal part, so I cannot take the rotor out. Any advices how to do this are welcome.

Initially you told me that it would be just before Christmas.

Maybe it's because of the French kitchen (cuisine Francaise) that you guys are so amazingly good with the metal
