Well now I have a respectable score for it I'll get posting records here.

Speed 12282 last night

90s is 132** can't remember exactly, but not very impressive, but i'll work on it.

I'd expect this sort of score from you really....people tend to score around 1800 to 2000 less with the Metal. It's why I would expect Akis to be able to achieve over 14k, and why I would now expect Pako to go over 15k with the Plastic. If you concentrate more on the Metal then I'm sure you'll see your scores rise rapidly. Mine did...much faster than my Plastic scores. Smile

Last night hit 12421. Still having major issues with grip even with SurGrip helping me.

My other issue is I seem to destroy the support band on the metal ball really easily. On my second one already and it is looking in poor condition. I really do try to hold onto it tightly to prevent this. I guess it must be something in my spinning technique.

I use mine at an angle so it grinds the support band on one side quite a lot. Over time it wears it out and eventuall effects the speed massively. I'm hopeing the spare parts become available to buy soon so I can buy a bulk but of them.

Well over 6 month later and i've improved. Hit 12468. Hopeing for more tonight.

I still have major technique issues with metal though. After getting that score my next 3 runs were alll sub 10K, and it is due to the ball just not wanting to accelerate, and i assume this happens because of how I hold it.

Well done, but still way less than you can achieve I'm sure. Stick with it and you'll see rapid improvements up to and over 13k I reckon.

(Went to Maplin today...the bozos behind the counter had no idea about actually submitting any customer scores to the leaderboard, so I didn't even bother picking the Powerball up. Was very tempted, when she said, "Do you want a demonstration?", to say, "Yes please, I've never seen one of these before...", but didn't. Laughing
